Could you introduce yourself in a few words?
I am a general practitioner established for about ten years. I also practice sports medicine and perform emergency consultations, at the request of the 15 or within the framework of the CPTS.
Before using Aldebaran, how did you usually prepare for your consultations?
Honestly, I didn't particularly prepare for my consultations in advance. I would discover the patient's reason for visiting and their request at the time of the consultation.
What benefits do you get from the pre-consultation?
First and foremost, the pre-consultation brings me more anticipation. It allows me to more easily integrate additional emergency consultations into the day, as I quickly identify whether the reason for the visit is simple or potentially more complex.
During the consultation, it also allows me to get straight to the main point more quickly and to address certain prevention topics more easily, since I already have the information in advance.
What impact do you observe on your daily workload?
I mostly notice a time saving on certain types of consultations.
For pediatric consultations, I went from about 30 minutes to 20 minutes.
For sports medicine consultations, from about 15 minutes to 10 minutes.
And for my prevention check-up consultations, from about 30 minutes to 15 minutes.
On a daily basis, this really improves the flow of my days.
What feedback do you receive from your patients?
The feedback is overall very positive. Some patients especially appreciate not forgetting anything they wanted to tell me during the consultation. The pre-consultation plays something of a role of a digitalized reminder, which is very useful for them.
What advice would you give to a doctor who is hesitant to get started?
I would highlight two elements: ease of use and time savings.
The tool is easy to set up, patients adapt to it quickly, and I have observed very little reluctance on their part. The adoption ultimately happens quite naturally.
