Before adopting Aldebaran, Dr. Fidry faced a common challenge: much of the consultation time was spent gathering information rather than engaging clinically with the patient.
In sleep medicine, every consultation requires a detailed history: the patient's medical history, standardized questionnaires on sleepiness, fatigue, mood, insomnia. In general practice, the reason for the visit was only discovered at the appointment, making it impossible to anticipate certain actions that were nonetheless crucial.
Its basic principle: the consultation must be finished by the end of the appointment. No administrative work spilling into the evening. But without the right information in advance, that was an almost impossible challenge to meet.

In the end, the pre-consultation has become a central tool in my practice. It allows me to anticipate, structure my consultations, save time, and above all refocus medical time on what matters most: the exchange with the patient and clinical decision-making. The more it is used, the more the consultation becomes efficient and fluid, and it allows me to be more proactive and less reactive over the course of consultations.
