As a general practitioner, Dr Victor Vincent cares for patients of all ages with very varied reasons for consultation. Without prior information, it was impossible to anticipate the complexity of upcoming consultations.
An appointment for an apparently simple reason could reveal significant psychological disorders, requiring an unplanned extension. Conversely, long time slots remained underused for ultimately simple consultations. In addition, as a training supervisor, Dr Victor Vincent could not anticipate which consultations to assign to his interns.
The challenge: anticipate the complexity of consultations in order to better organize the schedule, train interns safely, and not miss preventive actions during busy consultations.
